New Visit California Meetings-Focused Website Launches

CaliforniaMeetings.com connects planners and 55 destination marketing organizations across the Golden State

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Nov. 14, 2024) - Visit California has launched a new meetings-focused website, CaliforniaMeetings.com, in partnership with California Meetings LLC. The website features 55 group-focused destinations across the state highlighting meeting offerings and experiences, in addition to connecting planners directly to local contacts in the destination.

With planner education and connection at the forefront, the website bridges the gap between planners and destinations, showcasing California as the quintessential destination for hosting.

“California’s diverse selection of destinations, unique venues, commitment to innovation, and attitude of possibility position it as the premier state for meetings,” said Caroline Beteta, president and CEO of Visit California. “Our local destination marketing organizations across the state are invaluable in providing insights and direction for planners of any size meeting or event, and CaliforniaMeetings.com makes it easier than ever to connect directly with those local organizations.”

The website comes after the success of the Meet What’s Possible platform debuted in fall 2021, which has become a crucial element for economic recovery in the tourism space. The launch of the website has been a key initiative for the Meet What’s Possible task force since the platform’s launch, now providing the vital resource to planners and destinations alike.
