West Side Oyster Club Opens in Santa Monica

West Side Oyster Club, at 1355 Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, builds on the Morena family’s decades-long legacy in fashion, food and community. Led by Greg Morena, with Yunnie bringing her creative vision and Sweet Chi Candy Company experience, the concept follows her success with KimChiAvocado. Yunnie’s parents founded SM Pier Seafood—now The Albright—on the Santa Monica Pier in 1977. WSOC brings casual luxury to the coast: lobster rolls, market salads, fish & chips and caviar can be enjoyed on the go, including from a Palisades Park bench at sunset. The fast-casual menu features West and East Coast shellfish, seafood towers, po’boys, chowder bread bowls, fried seafood and kids’ dishes, plus caviar plates served on ice with crème fraîche, chips and chives. The beverage program includes cocktails such as the Palisades Sunset, Club Martini, Kyoto Old Fashioned, West Side Spritz and oyster shooter, alongside beer, wine and sparkling selections.
