Nunes Wine Company Opens Portuguese-Inspired Tasting Room in Pismo Beach

Nunes Wine Company opened its tasting room in downtown Pismo Beach, adding a new downtown tasting room. The pours are Old World in style and rare for the region: blends and small-lot releases handcrafted from Portuguese and Bordeaux varietals grown across San Luis Obispo County, from Paso Robles hillsides to vineyards near the coast. The wines come from Mike Sinor, a 30-year Central Coast winemaker. The tasting room facade is finished in blue-and-white Portuguese azulejo tiles, a nod to founder Devin Nunes' family heritage. Tastings run by reservation, with private and group bookings available, plus a membership club for repeat visitors.
