"Ocean in Motion / La Danza del Mar" opens on November 7, delivering a new bilingual exhibition designed to build empathy for ocean animals through movement and play. The experience features a vibrant coral reef complete with a custom-built wave machine, an expanded African penguin habitat, and interactive play areas that encourage children to connect deeply with marine life. Visitors will encounter an amazingly charismatic lineup of animals, including endangered African penguins whose wild populations continue to decline, deep-bellied seahorses, and entertaining leaping blennies that live on land and jump unexpectedly. Guests can also observe kid-favorite clownfish with their bright orange stripes, garden eels that sway like blades of grass before popping up unpredictably, flamboyant cuttlefish displaying bright, pulsing colors, and huge blue-spotted rays with electric blue markings sliding gracefully near the bottom of their tanks.
