CJ Olive Young to open first U.S. store in Pasadena

CJ Olive Young, a leading South Korean beauty retailer, will open its first U.S. store in Pasadena by May 2026. The company chose Pasadena for its flagship location due to its proximity to downtown Los Angeles, high-income households and institutions like the California Institute of Technology. The store will serve as a “K-beauty showcase,” offering curated products, AI-powered skin analysis and personalized consultations, mirroring its Korean locations. Founded in 1999, Olive Young operates over 1,370 stores in South Korea and is led by CEO Lee Sun Jung.
