An 11-day extravaganza celebrating midcentury architecture, design, art, fashion and culture
February 2027
How does swinging by Frank Sinatra or Dinah Shore’s pad for a cocktail sound? Or maybe checking out some vintage airstream trailers? Perhaps you’re in the market for a fabulous piece of furniture or work of art?
It’s all possible at Palm Springs Modernism Week, an 11-day extravaganza celebrating midcentury architecture, design, art, fashion and culture. There’s a massive lineup of home and estate tours, films, lectures, exhibits, classic car and trailer shows, along with chic evening soirees, concerts, and guided tours by bike, double-decker bus or on foot.
One of the most popular elements is the Modernism Show & Sale, featuring dealers from around the world selling furniture, décor and fine art, as well as the Palm Springs Modern Design Expo, which offers the latest home technologies, hand-crafted furniture and contemporary art. Even if you don’t know Googie from Deco, Palm Springs Modernism Week has something for everyone.
Visitors can step into California history and get inspired during Palm Springs Modernism Week, a celebration of midcentury architecture and design.
