The winner will also enjoy fine dining at Petra’s Bistro, Jimmy’s Taverna and Lakefront Restaurant, plus a special Mammoth Made Tour. Depending on the season, the winner will enjoy skiing/snowboarding or hiking and e-biking.

SUBMISSION CRITERIA

The entrant must be a California-based content decision-maker or content creator. He or she must live within the state for more than six consecutive months during the year.

Content must focus entirely on California travel lifestyle experiences or profile a California personality.

Submissions must be in an outlet that targets an out-of-California audience or readership. This is required as Visit California’s mandate is to attract visitors located outside the Golden State. Qualifying submission must have been published between Jan. 1, 2018 and Dec. 31, 2018.

Every year, Visit California welcomes a special guest judge to assist in judging entries from California’s most talented travel writers and content creators. This year's guest judge is Lara Kaylor, Director of Communications at Mammoth Lakes Tourism.

But when, you ask?

The submission window is currently open through end of day Tuesday, January 8, 2019.
